Larry Loftis, 68, of Baileyton, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home. \n \nHe was a member of Baileyton Baptist Church, and retired from Eastman after 33 years.\n \nLarry is survived by his wife of 48 years: Marsha Bradley Loftis; son: Brad Loftis; sister: Patsy Barham (George); 2 sisters-in-law: Sue Woolsey (Bill), and Cindy Bean; brother-in-law: Rickey Bradley; special niece: Gina Gredig; special nephew: John Woolsey, nephews: Garth Barham and Ryan Bean; special friends: Jerry Weems, Bob Shultz; many special friends, including his friends and coworkers at Eastman.\n \nHe was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin and Anna Mae Loftis. \n \nMr. Loftis was a loving husband, father and devoted friend. He loved to play guitar, golf, and loved riding his Harley with his son and friends. He wrote a special song for his parents. He enjoyed gardening, ginseng hunting with his dad and son. He had an extreme passion for Little Debbie Creme Pies and Coke. \n \nThe family will receive friends Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 4-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 2PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel Downtown, with Rev. Nathan Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Lewis, Bob Shupz, Howard Lamb, Harold Smith, and Jerome Woolsey.
