Lee Alvey

Lee Alexander Alvey age 76 of Afton passed away Friday August 5, 2022 at the Johnson City Medical. He was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 49 yrs Sharon Diane Alvey, daughter and son-in-law Angela and Leslie Talley, son Leonard Alvey, grandchildren Stephanie Dunbar, Ashley Wilhoit, Issac Cutshall, Susan Talley, Leslie Talley Jr, Brenna Alvey, Thade Alvey, Brandy Talley, great grandchildren Silas, Sawyer, and Seth, 2 brothers and sisters-in-law Wayne and Jean Alvey, Larry and Linda Alvey, sister and brother-in-law Linda and Chuck Summers, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Mamie Alvey, son Joseph Alvey, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. There will be no formal services. Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of the arrangements.
