Linda Marie (Randall) Wallingford age 71 of 65 Veldt Ln Afton, TN passed away unexpectedly Tuesday March 29, 2022 at Greeneville Community Hospital surrounded by family.\n\n Born September 6, 1950 in Rochester NH, the daughter of Roger Randall Sr and Beatrice (Chaisson) Randall. Linda worked as a special police officer with the Rochester fair in NH for two weeks every year for 20 yrs. She worked security and later became manager of Securitas Security in NH retiring after 27 yrs, after her and her husband retired they moved to Afton, TN 2009. She loved her Boston Red Sox and spending time with family and friends. She attended the Freewill Baptist Lighthouse Church in Tusculum,TN, where she made special friendships among them where six very special women whom she adored; Sherry, Trula, Helen, Aletha, Peggy, and June. \n\nSurvivors include her husband of 48 years, Roger C Wallingford; two daughters: Kristy L Ayers and Tammy McDougald, all of Afton; brothers: Roger "Curly" and Gracie Randall of Farmington NH, Raymond and Barbara Randall of Rochester, NH, Aidyl "Apple" and Linda Randall of Alton, NH, Edward Randall of Farmington, NH, Jerry and Mary Randall of Milton, NH; sister-in-law, Christine Randall of Mass; sister: Sharon and Ed Dufault; special family: DeAnna and Dusty Thacker and Jennifer Hurinus; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.\n\nShe was preceded in death by two brothers: James "Jimmy" Randall and Richard Foster; son-in-law, Donald W. Ayers; and special in-laws, Jack and Gail (Hopson) Ayers.\n\nShe is at rest in Jesus's arms. \n\nArrangements will be announced at a later date by Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service.
