Cleopathia Marie Wells January 12, 1938 – August 24, 2022 Cleopathia(Marie)Wells, 84, Greeneville, Tn. Fell asleep in death on Wednesday August 24 at her home at 7:00pm. She was born January 12, 1938 in Greeneville Tn. She was the Daughter of Billie(Woodford)Wilson and Howard(Deck)Elder, reared by Jesse Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Etsel Wilson and Terrence Wilson. She is survived by two sisters Tawana Cotner and LaDonnia Leonard. She has three sons and two daughters, Jessie (Dinky)(Kemma) Wells, Victor Wells, Billie Jean(Kenny)Black, Cecilia(Esco) Manuel, Gary(Lucinda) Wells. Caregiving grandchildren:Tiffany(Danny) Donaldson, Tamisha(Jimmy) Thomas, Chloe J Wells, Yeshua Manuel, and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved very very much! She was a loving mother and affectionate person who was known for her encouraging words and generous nature. Many times she opened up her home for many because of her hospitable spirit. She loved Jehovah her God with all her heart. She was baptized February 23,1977 as one of Jehovah’s Witness. She witnessed to many people that crossed her path and even throughout her illness she was able to share many smiles and make others feel loved. She spent many hours preaching about God’s kingdom and how that kingdom will bring a paradise earth to mankind in the near future. We grieve the lost of our Mother, Friend and Spiritual sister, yet we are comforted by knowing she is in Jehovah God’s Memory awaiting the fulfillment of Jesus promise at John 11:25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life. Acknowledgements: The family really appreciates the prayers, phone calls, comforting thoughts and hospitality that was shown during this time of sadness.
