Mermon Manuel Rogers, age 68, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Greeneville Community Hospital East.\n\nHe is survived by his wife of 32 years: Anna "Annie" C Rogers; 3 Children and their spouses: Brandon Roark, La'Star Rogers, Nashala Livingston; Grandchildren: Sylvia Hunt, Amelia Hunt, Bentley Roark, Raniya Livingston, Ahv-Onna Livingston; 1 Sister: Anna Neil Maddox; Brother & Sister in Law: Richard & Thelma Ford; Sister in Law: Phyllis Rogers; Very special Brother in Law and Sister in Law: Kenneth Dwayne Peters & April Tolley; Mother in Law: Jean Peters; his fur baby: Bama; Several nieces and nephews\n\nHe is preceded in death by Daughter: Jeanielynn Roark Hunt; Parents: Hal Williams & Sylvia Manuel Rogers; Sister: Amelia Mechan; Brother: Marcellous "Toe" Rogers\n\nHe worked for Ball Zinc/Altrista and was in the Forestry Service for many years. He attended Tabernacle Presbyterian Church. He was loved by all and thoroughly enjoyed fishing, Alabama Crimson Tide football, and video games.\n\nThe family will receive friends Sunday from 12-2pm at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The graveside service will immediately follow in Zion Cemetery at Baileyton with Rev. John Katts.
