Nathan Brooks

Nathan Willam Brooks, 91, of Greeneville passed away September 16, 2024 peacefully at his home.

He enjoyed his hobbies of fishing, traveling, and the joy of food. He also enjoyed the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his niece Mary A (Smelcer) Beach, great niece Lisa J Foulks (Michael), Melissa D Lopez (Freddy), Bobbie Jo Kohr (Bert), Great nephew Jimmy M Beach Jr, several great great great nieces and nephews and family

Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Earleen Brooks, his sisters Gracie E Smelcer (Joe K), Nellie McMillan (Doyle), Charlotte McMillan (Jack), Nephew Christopher McMillan

We would like to give a special thanks to the caregiver Emerald Weflen, from New Hope agency for her dedication and care. Another thanks to the hospice nurses of Amedysis and the Amedysis therapy groups. Last but not least a thank you to his great great great nephew Dylan Beach for his care.

Family will be receiving friends Wednesday September 25, 2024 from 5-7. Celebrant Mercedes Platz will be officiating the service Thursday September 26 at 2pm at Jeffers Funeral Services Downtown. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.
