Paul Brown

Paul Anthony Brown, age 66 went to be with the Lord on Monday November 6, 2023. He was employed by Regional Finance until he retired in 2022. Paul was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to play golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Mary Brown, and sister Libby Harrison, Brothers Teddy and Billy Brown and brother-in-law Arnold Shelton. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Connie Shelton Brown, and brother Tim Brown. His sons James and wife April Freshour and BJ and Wife Bec Freshour, two sisters in laws Yvonne Copeland and Meredith Shelton. His seven grandchildren Jayden, Bryce, Braylen, Alexis, Tiffany, Thomas, and Bryson Freshour. Three great grandchildren Ava, Aubree, and Liam Valentine. Several nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank all of his friends and family for their love and prayers. We would also like to thank the Doctors and staff at Johnson City Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Thursday November 9, 2023, at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The funeral will follow at 7pm Thursday in the chapel with Rev. Sam Smith officiating. The graveside service will be Friday at 10am in Greenelawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be BJ Freshour, James Freshour, Mark Trentham, Bruce Hutcheson, Jimmy Jennings, Randy Tweed. It is requested that family and friends meet at the funeral home Friday at 9:15am to go in procession to the cemetery.
