Jane G. Weems, age 81, of the Wesley Chapel Community, passed away at her home on October 28, 2022. Jane was a lifelong member of Wesley's Chapel UM Church where she served as the pianist for the last sixty-seven years. She is survived by her husband of 61 yrs Ted Weems, 2 sons Travis (Amanda) Weems and Todd Weems, 2 grandchildren Matthew Weems and Lexie Weems, half-sister Connie Goodman, 2 sisters-in-law Dorles Sensabaugh, Drucilla Miller, and several nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends Teddy and Kathy Clowers, Jake Ottinger, Ginger Justis, Kim Gass. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Fern Goodman, grandparents Anderson and Ida Gass, Aunt Mae Gass, father-in-law and mother-in-law Jim and Hazel Weems. The family will receive friends from 3-7 pm Friday November 4, 2022 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow at 7pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donna Waddle officiating. There will be a visitation Saturday at Wesley's Chapel UM Church from 10:30 - 11 am with the graveside service to follow in the church cemetery at 11am with Pastor Vivian Reed and Pastor Amy Blumberg officiating. Pallbearers will be Jake Ottinger, Teddy Clowers, Terry Sensabaugh, Jeff Brown, Chris Shaver, Randy Gass, Randall Bishop, Perry Weems. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Sensabaugh, Larry Weems, Mark Wills, and The Wesley's Chapel Adult Sunday School Class.
