Ralph Stanton

Ralph Stanton age 68 of Limestone, passed away Friday, March 25,2022 at Greeneville Community Hospital.

Ralph was a well-known farrier who had a passion for taking care people and their horses. He also was a great friend to everyone, as he never met a stranger. Ralph was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. His contagious laugh would always fill everyone’s life with love and joy. He was a loving husband, father and “Papi” who loved supporting his family at all their activities and events. He was loved and cherished by many.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joy Stanton; one daughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Matt Myers; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Whitney Stanton; grandchildren; Knox McAmis, Hudson Myers, Millie Stanton, and Graham Stanton; Brother-in-law, Jimmy and Audrey Lamb; several special nieces and nephew; and special friend, Carroll Hensley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Mildred "Maw" Stanton; two Brothers, Arthur "Duggan" Stanton and Jimmy Stanton; and sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Louis "Swifty" DeBusk.

The family will receive Wednesday from 4-6 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service at Afton. A memorial service will follow at 6 pm, with Rev. Paul Ragon officiating.
