Ray Fillers

Ray Fillers, age 84 of the Greystone Community, passed away at his home Friday, January 3, 2025. He was a member of Shelton Mission Church and retired from MECO.

He is survived by 4 children, Robert (Mary) Fillers, Kathy (Rickey) Dean, Tammy (Douglas) Crocker, and Johnny Fillers; special adopted daughter, Jaime Green; special grandchildren, Donald Ray Norton (whom was his caregiver), David Fillers, Dakota Fillers, Christopher Norton, Kayla and Matthew Willett, Kevin Landers, Nicole Phillips, Kelsey Pike; several great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jean Rice and Dean Mitchell; sisters-in-law Carol Sue Fillers, Diane Fillers, and Mary Winwood; brothers-in-law Robert and Donna Gilland, Mikey and Cindy Gilland, Chris Gilland, John and Betty Gilland, Junior and Glenda Gilland.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Fillers; parents, Rufus and Gertie Fillers; grandson, Charlie Bible; 2 brothers, Charles Fillers and Clifford Fillers; sister, Margaret Jennings; sister-in-law, Linda Hensley; and brothers-in-law, Reuben Rice, Roger and Anniejo Gilland, Jerry Gilland, and William Mitchell.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date. Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of the arrangements.
