Rev. Rex Brown, 82, of Tusculum, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at Life Care Center of Greeneville.\n \nHe was a retired Cumberland Presbyterian minister for 64 years.\n \nHe is survived by his son, Mark Brown of Afton; granddaughter and her husband, Leia and Emil Thompson of Limestone; brother and sister-in-law: Jim and Darlene Brown; nephew and his wife, Tim and Amy Brown; niece, April Brown; great-niece: Morgan Brown; great-nephew: Sam Brown.\n \nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Fannie Chloe Brown.\n \nThe family will receive friends Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 1-3PM & 5-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will be held Friday, at 11AM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. Interment will be in Fairview CP Cemetery.
