Richard Groezinger

Richard Carl Groezinger, age 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026, at home, surrounded by his wife. He was born on October 6, 1953.

Richard was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and a Popeye the Sailor fan. Mr. Groezinger served in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1976. He is the son of the late Eugene and Frances Groezinger of Columbiaville, Michigan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Gloria of Greeneville; brother Aaron (Kathy) Groezinger of Otter Lake, Michigan; a very special niece, Angie Kimmery of Fostoria, Michigan, whom he loved dearly; daughter Tina Marie Groezinger of Alabama; 1 grandson, 2 granddaughters, and 1 granddaughter of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck (Judy) Groezinger of Washington State, and his sister, Nancy (Larry/Davis) of Gladwin, Michigan.
