Richard Elmer Walker, 83, of Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at his home.\n \nMr. Walker was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Trinity UM Church.\n \nHe is survived by his sons: Richard and Diana Walker of Oak Ridge, and Randall and Angela Walker of Mosheim; Rodney and Kathy Walker of Tusculum; grandchildren: Phillip Walker, Jordan Walker, Heather and Alex Johnson, Tiffany Walker, Arianna Walker, Jamison Walker, Jared Walker; great-grandchildren: Shaylan Walker, Caden Walker, Kinsley Walker, Tannon Walker, Dawson Gibson, Ethen Walker, Briley Walker, Izabella Johnson and Ashlynn; brother: Vance and Madge Walker; sisters-in-law: Louise Walker, Dorothy Walker; brother-in-law: Dick Carter.\n \nHe was preceded in death by his wife: JoAnn Harrison Walker; grandson: Kieran Walker; parents: Roy and Effie Mae Walker; brothers: Albert Walker, J.C. Walker; brother-in-law: Carl Dixon; sisters: Rosemary Carter, and Loucille Dixon.\n \nThe family will receive friends Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 1-3PM & 5-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will be held Friday, at 2:30PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel Downtown. Interment will be in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
