Robert Hobert McIntosh, 83, of Chuckey passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Greeneville Community East. He was a member of Rheatown United Methodist Church as a Sunday School Superintendent. He retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center after 37 years of service. He was known to his grandchildren as “GaGa”\n \nHe is survived by his wife of 59 years: Betty McIntosh; daughter and son-in-law: Cindy & George Tvardy; son and daughter-in-law: Mike & Lindy McIntosh; grandchildren: Savannah Tvardy, Caroline Tvardy, Maddie McIntosh, Jordan McIntosh; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law: Lawrence & Elizabeth McIntosh, Alton & Jannie McIntosh; sister: Joan Lowe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Raymond & Sue Self; several nieces and nephews.\n \nHe was preceded in death by his parents: Brownlow & Mae McIntosh.\n \nThe family will receive friends from 1-3PM Sunday at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton. The funeral will follow at 3PM in the Afton Chapel with the Rev. Randall Emmert and Rev. Roy Fowler.
