Robert Lee “Bob” Weaver, 79, went to his Heavenly home Sunday,\nJanuary 16, 2022 after an extended illness. He was a local businessman,\nbeginning his retail career in 1961 with the F.W. Woolworth Company,\nWoolco Discount stores. In 1974 he and his family moved to Greeneville\nand he was the store manger and eventual District Manager of Howard\nBrothers Discount Centers. In 1990 he opened and was general\nmanager of the TSC Super store in the Towne Square Center. In March\nof 1999 he opened his first of three Bob’s Factory Outlets and he\nretired from there in March of 2020. He loved discount retail, it was his\nlifelong passion. He made so many friends over the years through his\nbusinesses. He loved the North Greene Huskies, Greeneville Devils,\nUniversity of Tennessee Volunteers and the Dallas Cowboys.\nHe is survived by his wife, the love of his life of 59 years, Diane Brooks\nWeaver. His four daughters and their husbands, Donna and Tim Bailey,\nDana and Berny Rolin, Debbie and Jack Wolford and Diana and Damon\nFaulkner. His grandchildren that he was so proud of and loved so very\nmuch: Rob and Keera Weaver, Corey and Alex Rolin, Thomas Wolford,\nTyler and Courtney Bailey, Talley Bailey, Darby Faulkner, Gabrielle Rolin,\nOlivia Wolford, Sadie Faulkner, Turner Bailey and Shelby Faulkner. Two\ngreat-granddaughters that he loved very much, Jonnie Weaver and\nTaelynn Bailey. Two sisters- in-law, Carolyn Brooks and Robin Robins of\nRichmond, Va. and a brother-in-law and wife, Wayne and Judy Brooks\nof Winterville, NC. Several nieces and nephews and cousins. Special\nfriends, Linda Caldwell, Peggy McCamey, Linda Hensley, James ”Buddy”\nColyer, Larry Miller, Randy Wilhoit, Ronnie Brown, Dennis Isabell,\nFreddie Crum, all his former employees of Bob’s Factory Outlets and his\nfriends and the employees at the Greeneville Waffle House.
