In Loving Memory of Robert (Bob) Lynn Wilson [Aug, 29, 1940 -Jan, 18, 2024]\n\nIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Wilson, a beloved member of his community and family.\n\nBob Wilson was born on August 29th,1940 in Afton Tennessee to a large family, Surrounded by 5 siblings Robert was known as an extremely hard worker by all those who knew him. He always could be found working in his garden or working in various community roles such as helping orchestrate Greenevilles’ voting center each year. A family man, who spent 61 loving years with his loyal wife Patrica Wilson. Robert loved his Daughter, Grandchildren. And a great grandchild with his entire heart.\nRobert worked diligently for 30+ years as an adaptive wheelchair mechanic/ supervisor at Greene Valley hospital. He was widely known to have been a master gardener and tobacco farmer, frequenting the farmers market to sell his produce. Proud of his work, he would always make sure the task was done correctly. Robert also served in the Korean war as a medic, exiting as a private first class after his stint of duty.\n\nRobert is survived by his loving spouse Patrica Wilson, His only daughter Anissa Moats, His two grandchildren: Ethan Moats, Samuel Moats. And his great granddaughter Margo \nHe is survived by his siblings Lester Wilson, and Mary Francis Bowman\n\nSuperseded in death by his parents Eugene/Kathleen Wilson and his siblings:Betty Boles, Peggy Mayes, Shirley west\n\nA graveside service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held on Thursday February the 8th at 2pm in Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Greene County Honor Guard.
