Ruth Ann Johnson

Ruth Ann Johnson age 82 of Afton passed away at her home Monday March 14, 2022. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She was preceded in death by her loving husband John E. Johnson, granddaughter Jennifer Perkins. She is survived by her 2 sons David (Lisa) Johnson, Paul (Becky) Johnson, daughter Beth (Jimmy) Gourley, grandchildren Jeremy (Kelsey) Johnson, Kassandra Johnson, Sonja Johnson, Natasha (Dustin) Smith, several great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a thank you to Amedysis Hospice. The family will receive friends from1-2 pm Saturday with the funeral to follow at 2pm at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton with Pastor Paul Becker of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kingsport. The burial will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens.
