Starr Bewley

Starr Laws Bewley, age 70, of Greeneville, TN passed away on Friday at Life Care after several years of declining health.

She worked 41 years as an employee at the Greene County Courthouse, serving in the Clerk and Masters office, the Property Assessors office, General Sessions and Juvenile Court. She cherished her many friends in her "courthouse family".

Starr was preceded in death by her son (Brian Bewley) her parents (Louis and Betty Laws), a sister (Sherry Laws) and two brothers (Larry and Jack Laws),. She is survived by two granddaughters ( Emily and husband Nick Valk and Olivia Bewley), two great grandchildren (Taytum and Grayson Valk) a devoted daughter-in-law (Shelley Bewley), two brothers and their wives (Toddy/Gayle Laws and Bill/Carol Laws), and a very special and devoted longtime friend and companion ( Dan Walker), nunerous nieces and nephews and a dear cat, Otis.

At Starr's request, there will be no formal service.
