Steven L. Fisher, 58, of the Romeo Community, passed away at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 15, 2021. He was proud to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Romeo United Methodist Church.\n \nHe is survived by his wife of 31 years: Linda Fisher; 6 children: Johnny & Dawn Shelton, Debbie & Donnie Harr, Brenda Reneau Shamay & Bryant Hughes, Shanoka Fisher, and Steven Shelton; grandchildren: Stephanie & Matthew Shelton, Jase Shelton, Katelin & Keven Knight, C.J. & Linda Hughes, Steven Shelton, Dillon Reneau; several great-grandchildren; special great-grandson: Lane Lemons; mother: Margaret Peters; brothers: Lynn Fisher, Chris Peters, Daniel Peters, Jeff Peters, and Dwight Peters; 4 sisters: Michelle Pitts, Pat, Janice, Reannah Peters; aunts: Ruth Ann Rhineheart, Nancy Howard, Bessie Reagon; uncle: Lloyd Dean; several nieces & nephews.\n \nHe was preceded in death by his father and step mother: June & Fannie Fisher.\n \nThe family will receive friends on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton. The funeral will follow at 7PM in the Chapel with Rev.
