Thomas Cowgill

Thomas "Tom" Harold Cowgill, age 75 of Mohawk, passed away Sunday, Feb.26,2023 at Select Specialty of Bristol due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Tom was a very loving, kind, and compassionate man, who loved God and serving others. Tom loved to drive; he was a working man who supported his family. He was always active and mowing his lawn. He loved his family and friends. He loved his dog, Shadow.

He was president for 8 years of Northern Lights Animal rescue, a member of TORA School of Ministry, and he was a volunteer for Amedisys Hospice.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila D. Cowgill. Children David Cowgill (Kelly), and Cami Cowgill (Tony). Grandchildren, Leilani, Levi, Danielle, Corey (Jennifer), and Joshua. 6 Great grandchildren. Siblings Pamela Cowgill, Judy Ballinger (Al), Kathy Cowgill. Several nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

A special thanks to Rhode Home Rescue in Rhode Island, Select Specialty of Bristol, the staff at Vet Care Animal Hospital, and to all of his friends that have supported him and his family through this journey.

Preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Violet Cowgill.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
