Tommy Dean Hardy Nelson, 26, of Greeneville passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. Tommy was a great person and loved by a lot of people. He was genuine to all who knew him, and had a heart of gold. He is survived by his mother, Suzy Nelson; companion, Jeffrey Gilbert; sister, Collettea Nelson; step sister, Christina Gilbert; brother, Isaac Hatfield; nieces and nephews, Priscilla Paxton, Kyleigh, Noah Hopson; aunts and uncles, Donna Patton, Teresa Boatwright, Betty Hambrie, Patrick Nelson, Spencer Nelson, Alan Nelson, Billy Doyle; special friends, Clifford Norton, Kailyn Solomon, Ryan Serra, Sabastian Carter, James McMan, Josh Frye, Ben Kite, Farrah Laws, Sheila Riddle, Ward Rice, Kayla Barnett, Amber Ricker; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Nelson; grandparents, Georgie Nelson, and Mary and Ed Doyle. There will be a private graveside service.
