Wallace Thompson

Wallace Jay Thompson age 64 of Afton, passed away July 9, 2026 at his home.

He is survived by his wife 24 years Silvia Thompson. Four children; Travis Thompson, Kellin (Katie) Carrier, Kane (Haley) Hill, and Lance Hill. Grandchildren; Maliah Hill, Ellie Hill, Keinleigh Carrier, Kamrie Carrier, Hudson Jay Hill, and Hunter Wren Hill. Siblings; Ronnie (Marlene) Thompson, Pam (Robert Lee) Johnson, Randall Thompson, Wendell (Lori) Thompson, and Sandra (Doug) Johnson. Father-in-law, Larry Carrier, Mother-in-law, Karen Carrier. Sister-in-law, Crystal Ashby, and a host of friends and family.

Preceded in death by his parents; Sam Edd and Wilma Thompson.

Wallace loved his church family at Brittontown Church, his faith in the Lord was the foundation of his life and his greatest joy was spending time with his beloved grandchildren, who meant the world to him. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his work, and he especially treasured the many years he spent working alongside his brother Wendell, as well as his other brothers. Their time together was more than just work it was a bond built on family, friendship and shared memories.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-7 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service at Afton. Family and friends are requested to meet Thursday at 10:15 am at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the 11 am graveside in Gethsemane Cemetery with Pastor Roger Dykes and Rev. Robert Lee Johnson officiating. Nephews will be pallbearers.
