Walter Koelmel

Walter Lorenz Koelmel (aka Pop or Chick) born in Brooklyn, NY in 1938.
Pop passed away at home on February 21st
He is survived by his wife Alice of 63 magical years (Just ask Alice ),brother Russell,son Walter jr, daughters Tracy & Steven Boyd (sil), Carla Russell widow of Robbie(sil) 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents August & Gladys and his sister Teddy.
Pop was a proud Army Veteran,passed commander of the American Legion, volunteer fire police, business owner, NRA instructor/marksman.
Pop loved to mow his yard and was proud of his flowers and gardens.
Pop was a wonderful devoted husband father grandfather and great grandfather. He was a friend to everyone he ever met and helpful to all. He loved to laugh.
Pop had a long happy fulfilling life and will be forever missed by us all.
