William Henry Griffis, affectionately known as Bill, passed away on May 13, 2023. Born in Chester, PA, on a day that welcomed a true music lover and devoted family man into the world. Bill spent his formative years in Linwood, PA, before moving on to touch countless lives with his caring nature and unwavering spirit. His love for music was evident in every aspect of his life, as he shared his passion with everyone who crossed his path.\n\nBill was a remarkable individual who found joy in the simplest things and cherished the time spent with his loved ones. His strength and resilience were evident throughout his life, as he faced challenges with grace and determination. He was a man who knew the value of hard work and the importance of family. Though his marriage ended in divorce, his devotion to his daughters was unwavering. Bill's kindness and generosity left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.\n\nWilliam Griffis is survived by his loving daughters, Denise Griffis and Lorrie Pinso; his siblings, Dee Borreggine, Robert Griffis, Joyce Keyes, Brian Griffis, and Barry Griffis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Griffis and Mabel Pellam. As we come together to celebrate Bill's life, let us remember the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives.
