William Robert Thomas Setser\n\n\nAugust 17, 1999 to September 06, 2023\n\nGone too soon! It truly breaks our hearts to have to share this news. The Setser family must announce the unexpected death of William Setser. William was such a joy to be around, always smiling and laughing. When he was younger he had so many wonderful adventures that he was privileged to share with others. There was the week long trip to Disney, followed by the Deep Sea fishing trip with Michael, Uncle Thomas and Daren. Thank you Michael for giving him that great experience. There were all the hiking and other adventurous trips with his Mentor, Ryan, from the Mentor Me program in Forsyth County Georgia. Thank you Ryan. There were the years of Outdoor camping at Camp Glisson thanks to Kinship Care for funding his camping trips. There were the day camps at Forsyth County Junior Fire Academy when he was in 7th and 8th grades where he learned what it takes to be a firefighter. Thank you Forsyth County for this wonderful free program for middle schoolers. Then there was the trip of a lifetime that he shared with family, his trip to Alaska, thanks to his foster father Derrick Brooks. He witnessed a Momma Grizzly and cub digging for roots. He watched a moose walk out of a pond nearby. He held a piece of a glacier. And the most memorable was when he tried to sneak the puppy from Jeff King’s tour where he learned about the Iditarod race.\n\nWilliam was preceded in death by his Great Grandma - Betty Foose and his Auntie Bev Ray, who both loved him so much. \n\nHe is survived by his brother (his best friend) Daren Setser, his Mom; Kimberly (Setser) Cutshaw, his Dad; Robert Hutton, his Uncle Thomas Setser, Auntie Shonve Washington, Aunt Christy, Uncle Danny Setser, Grandma; Chris (Foose-Setser) Luttrell, Grandpa; Donald Setser, Nanna; Diane (Hutton)Tolliver, Foster Father; Derrick Brooks along with many Great Aunts, Great Uncles, cousins and so many friends, who all loved him and will miss him so much.\n\nPlease join us for William’s “Celebration of Life” Ceremony to be held at Jeff and Peggy Foose’s home at 1610 Reynolds Road, Lot 48, Lakeland, Florida 33801, on Saturday, October 28th, from 3:30 to 6:00 pm.
